The brochure that was translated in the largest number of languages is of course the red introduction brochure. They are remarkably similar, all referring to 'La nouvelle Renault', with the exception of the English language version, entitled 'The Remarkable Renault 4' and the Swedish, which shows just 'Renault 4L' - in fact those two are the only ones showing the number '4'! Of course, there are also Belgian ones in French and Dutch, and Swiss ones in French and German, etc.

What they share, too, is the slogan 'no greasing, no water, just a little petrol' - always in this order. the only exception being the Germans who considered the cooling liquid more important than the greasing. Note the small differences between Dutch and Flemish, and UK and Canadian English. Please read on and find out what to ask the AA when you are stranded:
